Pelvic Health is the best possible functioning and management of the bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs. It is not merely the absence of disease or weakness in these organs. Pelvic health plays an important role in complete physical, mental, social, and sexual well-being.
I have seen and treated women who are pregnant suffering in pain, on modified bedrest and who are kept to their bed for most of the day for months, recovering moms from cesarean section due to preterm labor or emergent and needing to have to return to work sooner than later, or lastly, moms who return home with no family support.
At the end of the day, all of these women still have to care for their babies no matter what the situation. If any of these scenarios resonate with you, I can help. So many times, we just deal with issues because we don't know what questions to ask, who to ask or even know what resources are available to help and support them in this critical stage. I want to bridge the gap between this critical stage to help moms and their families heal faster, be stronger to care for themselves, and in the end care for their own families.
